The Rimbey Bluffton Minor Ball Association provides a community-based program that offers players the chance to develop their skills and master the fundamentals of the game. We have community teams for players starting at the U9 level, all the way through to U18. Each age group (U9, U11, U13, U15, U18) may have multiple teams. The program runs from mid-April to late June. In addition, there may be an opportunity for interested players to continue their season into July and participate in the 'A' provincials, for an additional fee.
Equipment & Uniforms:
For health reasons, the association does not provide helmets or face masks. Each team will have a few bats and some catching gear for the team to share. Players will be lent a jersey for the season—please take care of it, as wearing it represents the Rimbey Rays. We take pride in our association, athletes, coaches, and diamonds, and we ask that you wear the uniform with respect.
- Required: White ball pants, Jock, Rimbey Rays hat, batting helmet, ball glove
- Accessories: Navy socks (only needed for kicker-style pants), navy belt
- Style Options: Some players prefer “kickers” (shorter pants) with navy socks, while others prefer long pants. Choose the style that suits your athlete best.
